GW3Dfeatures is a all new software package.
It takes the surface capabilities of our
older GeometryWorks3D product but with
a new SolidWorks type user interface and
functions that are only associative within
SW 2008 and up. The new interface has
been written to use the same pick methods
and menu systems as found in SolidWorks
2008 and 2009.
There are two versions of GW3Dfeatures:
v8.0 and v9.0. GW3Dfeatures v8.0 is compatible
with both SolidWorks 2008 and 2009 and
contains the basic capabilities described
above. GW3D features v9.0 contains all
the features and funtions of v8.0 but
includes additional capability available
only with SolidWorks 2009. If you are
using SolidWorks 2009 you can use either
v8.0 or v9.0 of GW3Dfeatures however you
should use v9.0 to take full advantage
of the features of SolidWorks 2009.
